Am-short run again on the rim trail. Getting ready for the afternoon workout. This trail is my favorite.

Pm-killer workout of 4,5,4,5 pickups. Kinda dying. Really hard for me to push up the hills. But it was a good solid effort at the elevation change.

xctamony meeting. So much inspiration was shared. Love this night. Hope my story inspired someone :)

am-long run in the trail!!! Best run at camp. I ran all 90 min and I did it with the girls. No falling off or anything. So pretty and I loved it. Awe so much fun. Love trail running.

Learned so much from coaches today. Love listening to their wisdom. Also we had a visit from Amber Green and that was so cool!!! She is such a light and she truly loves running. Loved hearing what she had to say! Also played in the funnest game of volleyball ever!!! with the swaggest team.

am-hill run. man I was really worried about this run. hills have never been my strength but I know it's because I tell myself that I am not good at hills. As we were going up I kept falling further behind. Robs being the greatest coach kept coming back for me. I felt so bad honestly (cause ya know I was going so slow) but as we got talking I was able to pick up my pace and push aside the pain. or I guess embrace it. Before I knew it we were back at camp. I'm so ready for this year. I'm ready to improve individually and honestly do my best. This xc camp was one for the books. I loved every minute. I'm so glad I met/got to know people better. This team is memorable and we are going to do so many crazy awesome things. I 100% believe that. Thanks to everyone who made this year the best.

pm-man learned my lesson about sleeping in!!! i apparently have not been getting enough sleep these past few weeks (mainly girls camp and then xc camp)but i slept until 10:30...then ate then didn't want to run right after eating.  then alli had to go somewhere so i was waiting for her.  then we started the run at like 3:00 which is way to hot.  had lots of time to think today which was nice.  sweatiest run in a long time haha.  also a much needed shorter run.  proud of myself for maxing on all the level 3 min.  such a solid week!!!  8x striders also felt wonderful!!!!!!!

Ya know...today was a struggle. My legs were feeling really tired. I wish I had one day before we jump right into a long run with tempo. But it was fine. Went into hell hole. Really worked on personal victories. Also on looking like a strong, confident runner. That's huge for me. I noticed that when I was working on form it carried me to run faster. Tempos were fine. Fell off of the group but tried to push myself. Ready for a strong week.

am-grass run. Really chill. Lots of fun! Good conversation. Striders were wonderful.

Kids club. Ran like 30 more min...haha love running with the kids. Highlight of my day. Last one which means summer is coming to a close ;(

am-run from high school. very solid

pm-first race of the season!!!!! yay!!!! oh my this was by far the best race of my whole life. like I don't even know where to start. The whole thing was wonderful. Actually my start was kinda crappy but ya know other than that it was simply the best. I pushed the whole time. I was going after girls. I was fighting. I don't think that that has ever happened in my life. I dug up the hills and I felt so strong. I am literally on top of the world. 6th on the team feels awesome too. This season is gonna be so good and I'm so glad to have broken the barrier finally. Awe I can't even quantify how happy I am. Just a reminder- run harder :)

afternoon-delano peak.  best run of my life sooooooo pretty and green and coolest view ever.  plus we saw some mtn goats.  def one of the coolest things ive ever done with most definantly the coolest people.

night-60 min run at midnight.  coolest experience ever.  the stars were shooting like crazy.  lots of crazy wishes made :)

good convo about our team goals and man this year is going to be tough but totally worth it if we put the work.  so excited for what this season brings.

Am- weights and run. kinda hurt my back deadlifting...so that is a bummer

Pm-solid run. I did a really good job at staying with the pack today. Even when we started to pick up the pace. It actually felt really good.

pm- Bloomington hills workout. Ya know it was fine. Positives and negatives. Still got a long way to go to get where I want to be. I am going to have to make sacrifices to make sure I am doing certain things. I'm committing to doing those things. Thanks robs for reminding me of important things.

Am-weights and run good run. feeling pretty tired.

Pm-long run. Legs we're really feeling the workout yesterday. But once I got into it I was able to dig really deep actually. It was a small victory. It's a great day to be a panther

pm-desert relays.  pretty solid run.  i wish that it was a 3 mile race cause i felt like i had a lot more in me.

runathon with the team.  super fun time.  although by the end of the day roberts was calling me bossy mean addi...dont know if that was a good thing.  it was also a good time to focus on my form.  i think its getting lots better so thats a bonus.  ran lots of times...not really sure how many.

am-morning long run w/out robs.  did parkway loop.  that was fun cause its one of my faves.  kinda took it a lot too slow...also sad day for rylee cause she fell and now has some sick battle wounds and stitches.  tempo was actually pretty solid for me.  me, ellie, and jacey all pushed together when most of the girls were feeling dead i guess...not really sure.  overall pretty good run even though the team did a terrible job of running together.  hopefully it was a one time deal.

pm- chill run.  feeling tired.

pm-super swag workout. Best workout I've had in so long! it was a super strong pace at the home course of the dirt mile. I lead the pack, pushed the pace, and hit all the times. Positive vibes going into this weekend :))

am-warm up w/striders and tempo. Didn't really have they great of a race. I didn't seem to have any energy in my legs. Also, didn't have a very good focus either. But the girls talked and that helped me a lot.

am-solid long run.  actually is was super super great.  lots of small victories along the way.  started strong and didnt die running up sunrise tire like usual.  ran with robs and jacey i think on the river trail.  it was dark so i dont really remember...haha.  the 8x100 meter hills were wonderful.  it was a good hill day for me so that was a victory.  finished strongish with caroline and jess.  that was a good time.  struggled to stay up with roberts and jace but it was just fine.  it was a dandy way to end the run. 

pm-20 easy on grass.  lots of laughs.  it was a good time.  just ask jess we laughed a lot.

am-morning short run with weights. Solid day of lifting. Maybe gonna add some weight on bench next time.

pm-turkey road. man that is one hard hill. Had lots of good convos today. Me and Caroline started talking and it was super good. Love that girl. Also picked it up with robs near the end. Felt super great to finish fast with him. Yet another victory. Life is good :)

am-late to morning practice so that's a bummer. did majority of run by myself.

pm-workout at Bloomington. 4x4 min, 1:30, 2:15 @5k pace. Pretty solid workout from me. Could've been better, haha ;) struggled to stay strong the second half which was something we worked on...seemed that I Sayed for 2 min then died for 2. Other than that it was good. Also, it's kinda a bummer cause like the whole team has colds and I'm finally getting it ;(

Am- nice session of weights. Benched 22.5 on both sides so that's pretty cool. Plus it wasn't even that terrible ;) love weights and feeling strong.

Pm-really steamy afternoon. Ran towards Sullivan one of my faves actually. Kept a solid pace with Jess and robs. Felt good to go a little faster. As robs says when you push when you are tired you build confidence. And that's what I need.
