am-good run. Feeling good

pm-15 min progressive tempo at the dirt mile. SOOOOOO good. I've gained a lot of confidence over these past few days. I was able to fight really strong today. The last minute was rough kinda sad I didn't finish completely with the pack but overall a super great workout where we were able to pack together really strong :) it was a great day. Ready for another strong week.

Ran up at the same place jos ran cause we didn't have time to drive to state. Practically the prettiest place I've ever been. And I want to have it as my backyard when I grow up. The weather was wonderful even at 11. Loved watching jos run :)

am-fun log run trail. we did suicidal tendencies out in santa Clara. It was so pretty I love running the trails. Felt good tired towards the end but overall a great run :)

am-nice sesh of lifting. I'm really enjoying lifting :) love the workouts in the mornings.

pm-today was really rough. after coming off last week where the majority of the workouts were simply wonderful it was rough to endure today. Here's the thing, I don't know what I did differently last week than what I did for today. I know it's totally a mental battle (even though I was telling myself my legs were tired) I didn't even stay with the pack for one rep. It was hard for me to push and I gave up from the very first one. I'm gonna make sure to get lots of sleep and eat healthier than I have been. Also, I'm gonna make sure to visualize/meditate every night. It's the small things that will help me in the long run.

am-nice and moderate ;) haha it was a good run. kinda a struggle towards the end but overall it was a good one.

pm-mid distance into green springs. Did a lot of stopping and bathrooming today...so thats not always the greatest but the pace was going good. Legs are feeling beat so I'm going to make sure to roll and stretch really good tonight. Also, striders were hard today. I couldn't run the recovery at all...so I pushed hard on the strides by myself and slowed alot on the recovery. Good day.

am-weights. bball girls were in there so it was loud but o was proud to be lifting more than all of them.

pm-good run legs are feeling back into things. super stoked for the race. 4x200 really tightened me up at the end. but j did lots of stretching and rolling

am-yoga with figi. Definitely my favorite mornings.

pm-alright race. I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong. I try so hard to do well and I mean it was fine but I feel like I have so much more in me. I want to help the team and push the team to do their best. Definitely not what I did. I have every desire in the world to run fast. I love to run. I love my team. I love my coaches. It's the best program in the world. Now I've just gotta figure out how to do what I want to in racing. One day it's gotta click. And that will be one special and spectacular day.

am-workout at state. Very solid run for the team as a whole. Coach got on our cases about a lot of things and it really reminded me of what I personally need to do for this team. How we are supposed to push together and fight and pack and awe so much. Even though he was mad it was good because it made us realize things a whole lot more. We were doing our part as athletes to help our team mates and get them where they were supposed to be. So many people were pushing out of the comfort zone to seek together. So proud of all the freshies (and Jada and ness) for digging in and leading the pack. Definitely a confidence boost for so many girls. Plus the state course and weather couldn't be more perfect so that made the run wonderful as well.

Am-best long run of the year. Ask anyone they'd agree. The pack was sooooo solid we had like 15 girls together for the whole 70 min. Hills were alright. Kinda tiring but good. Pyper and Alli brown jumped in and led so that was pretty awesome. We've got some really talented runners. So that's fun. Really good run.

Pm-easy grass run. Awe so many laughs today. Robs is skilled in the art of accents.

pm-shin was hurting again...so that's bad news. worked/stretched good. Pretty solid run but the pack was all over the place. I don't really feel ready for tomorrow. But I'm going to visualize and prepare myself. Should be a good race :)

am-weights and plyos. No run due to some sick lightning.

Pm-did killer abs before run once again because of lightning. Run was alright. Girls were doing a variety of distances today so that was weird. Got to push the full minutes with some swag girls. Jada and py will never cease to make you laugh.

am-killer morning. I'm feeling really tired and sore. We had plyos and yoga. About dies doing plyos. Super tired and sore.

pm-Attempt at a 15 min tempo. Everything hurt today. My shin is starting to hurt and that worries me. Plus my butt was super sore. These are all just excuses but it was really dragging me down. it wasnt that great. But it was fine.

Went by myself for 30 and then went another 30 with my dad and Alli. Still super tired. (Didn't get to run with the team so that's a bummer) also car wash is today so that should be fun

am-man, I was totally not in it today. I was very distracted the whole time. My mind was racing all over the place so it was hard for me to stay in the pack. We had two sets of tempo and I found myself drifting through my thoughts rather than pushing my legs. It was a weird feeling. I don't think it's ever happened before. The rest of the girls seemed to have a really solid pack and strong group. Trying to find my place, and my why again in running. But you can't be too disappointed with a long run where the weather felt simply wonderful. Love running.

Pm-grass run. Shin was kinda feeling crappy. But good run.

pm-5x4 min reps best workout in the past few weeks. Found myself a new group and I was able to help them. That's where I do my best. It was fun to be able to lead and help them. Excited for this weekend. Robert's youd be happy to hear that we got in a nice long cool down :)

pm-sad day cause my friends all left me but it was a good run with a swag group. ran out and back to Washington. Had a group of mayc, Alli, ness, py, Jada, Boston, Caleb, Ethan, and Heather. Good run. Kept a nice pace. It's been fun for me to get to know some people a lot better ;) the team dinner was a party. There are some pretty cool people on our team. Missing my bff's though

pm-nebo race! oh I loved it. Best race in weeks. so much fun. Even though it was wet the weather was perfect!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy and I'm ready for more. Can't wait to hear how my good friends do tomorrow. I'm missing them :) love running with my whole heart

Run with mayc. Had to go a little earlier than I wanted cause her hoco date is coming earlier than mine. But it was a good run. Even a little chilly I might dare say. It was a nice shakeout chill run and I'm ready for a solid week :)

am-good run. didn't really go as planned though. we ran out under the freeway towards Dixie rock. I you'll died going up the gradual hills. So it was a bummer cause I wanted to run back with the girls. But I ran back with ness and i felt like we were going a solid pace (but I'm not entirely sure cause my watch has been sooooooooooooo slow at getting location lately) overall a good run next week I'm gonna stick in on the long run. It's something I need to do.

pm-robs gave a really good discussion before the run today. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. It's honestly something that i fall into a lot. I totally feel like I find myself wanting to be comfortable rather than growing. So that's what im gonna try to teach myself to become the regular and norm cause I want to build confidence and growth. Good run kinda sore.

am-weights and run. Shin kinda bugging still. iced in the locker room

pm-really good run. even though I was feeling pretty crappy I made the most of it. I was able to push through some pain and escape the comfort zone. Fast pace for most of the run and it didn't even feel to bad :) I enjoyed it and k love running with the gals (thanks Carson for reminding me where k should be running) also, coach I have one of your pens cause someone left it stabbed into the ground. I'll bring it to you tomorrow.

am-morning run. really tired this morning. Committing to get more sleep.

pm-ive decided to do some of our speed/interval workouts with a different group(Alli brown, Jada, pyper, ness, mayc, Jenna) we had 4x4:30 at 5k but then we also did the beginning and ending minute at quicker than 5k if that makes sense...it was super good for me :) I was able to lead and be strong the whole time!!! Shin and right thigh were kinda hurting but once we got going it was easy to forget. It is weird to not go with the varsity girls on workouts like this. But, I know that when I am helping the pack and contributing to the pace and pack I do better and I run much faster. Plus I am gaining a lot of confidence. One day running in the varsity pack will be where I need to be but for right now I am needing to help these girls push themselves through the pain. And let me tell ya they push themselves hard. Good workout plus it rained a little so that was really fun :)

pm-talked to robs and I only did 20 on the road and came back to the high school and did 25 on the grass. that felt much better. but still my shin is just killing me. Idk what I need to do but I ant to end this season stronger then it started.

am-good run by myself (with the team I just couldn't run with them...I probably could've but I was super tired and my shin hurt) plyos were good and so was yoga

pm-cedar race. so many different feelings and thoughts about my race today. I honestly felt good today. My legs physically hurt pretty bad. My thigh was on fire but I was able to push when it hurt. I was passing people and that made me happy. That's always a good feeling. Caught 3 girls before the end coach. Not the cedar girl though ;( she had one killer kick. Wanting to be running faster. One of my most sincere desires.
